Scoliosis Research Society Announces 2024-2025 Board of Directors

The Scoliosis Research Society spans a nearly 60-year history of research, advocacy, education and innovation in the field of spinal research and surgery. The Society’s leadership through the decades has seated some of the most prestigious names in the field of spine research. This year’s Board of Directors is no exception.  

On Saturday, September 14, at the society’s 59th Annual Meeting in Barcelona, Spain, Dr. Laurel C. Blakemore accepted her role as president.  

“Being a part of the Presidential line and the leadership of the SRS has been an amazing experience,” said Dr. Blakemore. “We’re very united, it’s a really collaborative group and we share the same goals for where we can take the society in the future. My presidency will be very much a continuation of those goals.” 

Dr. Blakemore steps into a leadership role on a board filled with prestigious members, spanning the globe from Europe, Asia, Canada and South America. The SRS is pleased to present the 2024-2025 Board of Directors:
